So there it is, a Hardcastle Special selection 7. No markings apart from the name. I cannot find out anything from google, What do you know about Timescale,Dunhill, Conroy or parker seconds or reject?. I cant find anythhing. I guess this means it wasnt very popular. But i would still like to know.

Otherwise I'm gonna keep telling myself its an original made by Mr Hardcastle himself...Which isn't helping!

Please give me any info you have

Pipepedia has some dating info on old Hardcastle makes. Yours isn't listed as an old model. And unless I'm mistaken, I think I see some fills. So...my guess is it's maybe a 70s pipe. I could be a decade or so low. My point is that I believe it isn't one of the older makes.

For years, until about two or three years ago, Iwan Ries had a web site page of Hardcastles with copper or brass tone fittings like this. The pipes were priced at about $40, and I seriously considered the Dublin. They looked like inventory that had been around for a long time, but were unsmoked if not exactly new. Iwan Ries maintains an expansive inventory, so it may be they still have some of these in a drawer, somewhere.
