I'm gonna have to slap myself a few times with a 2013 calendar in order to be able to believe it.

    Happy New Year everyone

So, how is "The Future" going for everyone?

    Remember when 1999 was inconceivable?

I remember 1999 and the Y2K panic! Happy New Year to one and all!

I hope everyone has a fantastic New Years Eve... and for gods sake please be safe.

So with that said... any big plans? I usually stay in on this night, but I know its a big party night for many... especially the younger crowd

I am going to enjoy me a nice smoke to ring in the new year. Probably on my front porch watching the crazies

Happy New Year to all. I resolve to smoke only the finest tobacco money can buy -- and a lot of it!

I hope the best to all this year. Happy New Year pipe smokers.

When I was knee high, I thought that my late grandpa made the clouds in the sky with his cigar smoke, only to find out later it was his pipe smoke.

They're shooting fireworks over the harbor here -- the town doesn't do it -- must be some locals -- probably rented a restaurant (closed for the season) out on the pier for a New Year's party. Pretty awesome though

A very gracious and happy new year to one and all. My resolutions for this year are just to keep myself above ground and glory in the fact 2012 will not be on my head marker!!

All my best wishes for everyone on the forum here.
Personally, since 8:00 PM on new years eve, I have spent all my time in bed with meds battling a nasty flu. Which means no pipes, no cigars... what a way to start the year

But hey, it can only get better from here

"The fact is, squire, the moment a man takes to a pipe, he becomes a philosopher. It's the poor man's friend; it calms the mind, soothes the temper, and makes a man patient under difficulties. It has made more good men, good husbands, kind masters, indulgent fathers, than any other blessed thing on this universal earth."
