Funny how my circa 1947 (?) KW 95b Drinkless is my most-often gurgling pipe. Not that I mind too much. I just unscrew the stem, clean it up, and keep going.

I have 4 Kaywoodies Drinkless all ranging in dates from late 30's to possibly the 70's. All gurgle a bit. Like you, I just take the stem out and give is a shake and maybe a cleaner and keep on puffing. I try to smoke flake, which seems to help on keeping moisture down. But, I have regular pipes that do it too.
