So yesterday, the mail arrived...

According to Santa, he didn't have any space for his new stuff so needed to get rid of some of the things he didn't use anymore.
I got the great pleasure of discovering, encased in 3 pipe pouches, 6 pipes, used but clean and a new tamper.
Here's a picture of the haul.

All my thanks to Shawn who knows I am very keen on enlarging my still very modest collection.
2 Vauen (4415 Classic sand 9 mm., 1205 Largo), 2 Capitol pipes, 1 Bjarne, 1 Amphora
Came with that, 2 Vauen 2 pipes pouches, I Savinelli pouch.

and the tamper.
Still, no blends samples... disappointing...

I am such an ungrateful bastard.
Cheers mate.

Nice. It's always good to see these kind of stories. Been on the receiving end a few times myself. Great bunch of people, the members here. Nice haul, enjoy the heck out of it.

Really nice hit there. I love the strong contrast on the far left pipe.

Crying about no samples? That kinda ruins the sentiment of the entire reason for starting this thread. Unless I can't read sarcasm as intended.

@clickllick: indeed, it was all sarcasm, I am very grateful.
I did a bit of work on the stems to give them a long lost and bitten smoothness.

@clickklick, I meant to ask you about that actually, I usually use sandpaper of different grit (800 -->15000) to polish the stems, but I never manage to make as shiny as they were when they were new. Any tips?
