Baskerville's new pipe in progress

Looking good!
That is looking like a Cherrywood shape!
How does walnut wood stack up against briar for a pipe?
That is a great shape!
Looks great Uncle!!
Thanks. Had to stop for the night . Needed a couple pain pills and trying to work of three lathes at the same time sucks!
love that shape and like the way the grain is showing
Looking good.
Arthur is that piece at the end of the shank going to be a extension? If so, I like it!!
Yes it is. trying to mount a stem in the walnut is asking for disaster. It WILL split eventually. I am planning on the ball type stem I used for the short one on the Bursar pipe for this one. Sound OK?
You're the artist pal, whatever you feel like doing, do it!!
Coolness!
Looking great! Keep up the good work!
Couldn't sleep. Here ya go Bob.

Incedible work
Thanks. That was a very large block so I am doing another for Bob from it. Maybe a bulldog. Hound of The Baskervilles!

What? Are you serious? Wow, I don't know what to say except thank you!!!
Amazing. Great choice of material for the stem mount
Mr. A.
I have a round 4inch x 3inch thick Black walnut stock sitting around.
Now I know what to do with it. Different shape though. The layout you drew
is so simple that I have over drawin the pipes I have already done.
You can bet your bottom dollar that my pipes do not even compaair to yours.
3 lathes !!! That would be a lot of beers to give up to buy. But you being single
you do not a produt manager.
Joe

Arthur I have bragged on this pipe to a couple of other forums and I am getting nothing but positive replies and high praise!!
