going on a curse, anyone suggest some good tobacco/pipe shops?

Good afternoon, the wife finally talked me into going a vacation this winter. We are going on a cruise and I would like to find some local tobacco shops while im out. Maybe bring back a new pipe if im Lucky enough. We will be at st. Maarten, st. Kitts, sanjuan, and finally Labadee Haiti. If anyone has been to any of these and may have some input on some good shops it would be appreciated.

I don't know about pipes but the "genuine" Cuban cigars you will see in sold every port's marketplace are fake. 8O

I'll bet that's what the passengers on the ill-fated Carnival ship Triumph said in 2013 after a fire knocked out its power, and then most of the heads stopped working! As I recall it was adrift for four days.

More and more the chances are that these cruises ARE cursed. I live in FL and repeatedly hear about boatloads of

people who have had Columbus' revenge of some sort.

If its a 'curse' I assume it is one of those Harry Potter themed holidays. I have often pondered going on a cruise just to avoid getting on a plane but my luck of recent something will go horribly wrong!

Having been on a couple of cruises now, most of the tobacconists that I've seen in the Caribbean/Bahamas are cigar-oriented. There's a place called Cigar Emporium in St. Maarten that advertises pipes on its website, but doesn't mention brands at all... There's a Davidoff shop in Philipsburg, but that's about all I've found out about it at this point.
Best bet that I've found so far is to find a decent shop at your departure city, and take along something to smoke in the smoking lounge on board. :puffpipe:
