My favorite (naturally) Scandia pipe dropped and broke off at the tenon. I pulled out the tenon. What are my options? I thought Super glue , Epoxy or Gorilla glue. My concern is the lateral stress from twisting when inserting or removing. Any thoughts? Thanks

Welcome to the forum.

Find a good repair person and send him the pipe and ask for a delron insert. Gluing is not going to work and this way you can save the original stem. Most repair ops can do this easily and it is money well spent. I usually use Floyd Norwood. Excellent work, quick turn around and very reasonable prices.

Those guys summed up your options pretty well. Another route you can take is to just replace the whole stem. I think getting a new insert to keep the original stem would cost the least. Unless you can find a stem/insert and do the work yourself.
