I've been working my way through a tin of this since the Chicago Show.
The tobaccos in this are balanced really nicely. I can be a bit sensitive to latakia/oriental but this is not too sharp, and the Kentucky is not overwhelming. It has a nice sidestream. Overall just a pleasant, lazy smoke.
Bravo.

This is the pipe tobacco that got me back into pipes. Very pleasant balance, subtle. I don't yet have the palate to discriminate among all the flavors - got some Virginia and english seasonings. Maybe that is why I like it. The latikia isn't in your face and doesn't dominate everything else.

It's wonderful stuff and I stocked up on several tins when it was introduced.
Maybe I should crack open a tin to see how it's aged. Hmmm...

Nice review, I just ordered a tin of Sextant on Tuesday. Now I'm impatiently wanting for it to get here!

currently my afternoon smoke. Seriously good stuff. I favour a Sav capri poker for this, which makes me feel like Popeye when I smoke it :)
