GL Pease Renaissance - unavailable for many years now

I am sitting outside going over some business correspondence on the laptop and decided to take a break with a pipe full of Greg's Renaissance.
This is a rare 10 year old tin and is of course long discontinued due to the warehouse fire in 2004 that decimated their supply of aged Syrian Latakia.
My oh my, this is an amazing smoke, made all the more poignant by knowing that we will never see it again...anybody else have fine memories of this brilliant blend?

Definitely. It was a sublime mixture. In fact, I miss it far far more than Bohemian Scandal.

I've had plenty of Bohemian Scandal and one tin of Raven's Wing, but have never found one of these for what I'd pay for it. Someday.

@Pipestud: As you are a dealer in rare old tobacco, I'll bet you've sampled more Renaissance than most people. Lucky you.
@ Doctorthoss: I had some Bohemian Scandal at a recent meeting of the Golden Gate Pipe Club, generously supplied by Mr. Pease himself. Fabulous.
