I was wondering where these rank in terms of other GBD models. Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

I have one, a pot, and compared to other GBD's I own and have owned it ranks right at the top!! I love the brushed look rustication. Sorry no pics, I don't have a camera.
Thanks Waymon. I have two Prehistorics that are both sweet smokers, plus an International that needs to have the stem replaced. I see quite a few Rockroots, and the prices seem to be all over the map.
Chris said this 4 months ago here: "It is the least expensive pipe they made in the 60-70's but some I have seen are quite stunning and made from good briar."
I did a simple PM Forums search and found the whole thread, in case you're interested:
Here's a link to GBD models that may be of some help.
Roth: Thanks for the link. I never seem to have much luck with forum searches.
Cortezattic: I have seen that list and actually copied down the order of quality for GBD pipes, but I could find no mention of Rockroots on there.
John:
Scroll through the first table. It's alphabetized and tucked in there between Prodigy and Rose.

Thanks. I see it now.
While the Rock Root is on the low end of the cost scale for GBD, they made some interesting shapes in that finish. I sent my daughters fiance Rock Root and Tapestry GBD's as a Christmas gift. I restored both and the Rock Root was built/drilled just as nicely as the Tapestry (or my other GBD's) He said the Rock Root smokes just as nicely as the higher end Tapestry.
Viking Club has this nice Rock Root pot, looks in nice shape!
