Accent on the Fun in Funky!
I’m going to post a few pictures of oddball pipes that I’ve come across and encourage others to do the same! :puffpipe:

Interesting wood carving. I can't quite tell where the bowl stops and the shank begins, and if there's any stem at all, but that's a funky pipe.

Maybe once, just to confirm that it is smokable, but I don’t expect it to be as god a smoker as one of my briars or meerschaums.

Is that a cigar, or is that thing sticking out its tongue? Otherwise, very interesting piece; potentially interesting thread as well. :puffy:

Trevor Talbert is making some nice stuff!... I hadn’t heard of him before, so I went looking and although he’s expensive, he seems to have no trouble selling his pipes!

Yes, he's a top notch carver.
But that green stummel- I'd say it's jade except it must be briar! Looks like one of those 1/1000 shutter speeds of a drop of water. But water with a lot of algae....

Not what we would regard as a “traditional” pipe, but that might depend on your point of view. For us, it’s not traditional in form or material. It’s been well used, but I have no idea of how old it might be or what history it might have. I have smoked it and it was a very enjoyable smoke.
