Frey Pipe Arrival

Received the Michael Frey pipe today and it's much better looking and substantial than the eBay photos would've had me believe. This pipe was made by Frey in March of 1987. It's all a matter of opinion, but if you ask me, he was ahead of his time. It's a beautiful piece!!!

Thanks a lot!!! The more I handle it the more I love it... It's a bit heavy, but really beautiful. Lately I've found myself gravitating to these volcano'esque shapes. This one reminds me of my beloved Kent Rasmussen.

Oh yeah, a beautiful pipe, a handful with abundant grain. The ball shape is so distinctive and pleasantly uncommon. No clenching with that one, except to light it, but a fine pipe for smoking in hand and being totally insulated from the heat. Balance that one with a light weight pipe or two. It's all good, as the old cliche goes.
