Well not completely free. If you buy two tins of any Villager 1888 tins from pipeandcigars.com you get a free pipe lighter. This deal is going on all month long. Just though I'd let you guys know

As long as I got a pipe full of baccy and a nose full of snuff, I'm a happy camper

I'll interject my sugestions of the two Villiger 1888 blends I'd buy...

Mid Day is a excellent oriental aromatic blend. The tin note is good enough to eat and the smoke is heaven. Imagine campfire toasted marshmallows and you come close...

Cocktail Hour is a good smoke. Kevin says it reminds him of 3 Nuns as does papieguy. I've never tried 3 Nuns, but Cocktail Hour offers a decent smoke. No this blend isn't going to have you sitting there trying to figure out all its' complexities, but it is a great utilitarian smoke.

Late Night is a decent smoke, but it has a Danish-style flavor profile to it. It's a bit harsh when freshly opened, but a month or two and it calms down.

I thought you could grow the wacky tobaccy too?

If you can't pack it, light it, and smoke it then why do it. It's a dieing art that must be rekindled in all of us as fortold by our forefathers.

ya the laws here on weed now r very lax. not formally of course, its still illegal but.... lets just say that if u have a plant or 2 and ur the one in 1000 that r charged, nothing much happens. If cops stop u in the car and u have a bit on you, say a smoke or a couple, nothing much happens.

Apparently somebody's laws forbid shipping these dangerous items....dunno how we get them into the country without shipping them, but I don't seem to have any trouble buying even pre-filled lighters at the corner store .

Canada has a lot of good things going -- some of the laws don't fit that description!

I got the email about this yesterday. The prices are pretty good, and two tins with a lighter came out cheaper than the shipping cost. I had to pass on it anyway because my paycheck is already claimed by more pressing demands.

Even though it's out of stock, if you order it this month you will still get the lighter when the back order comes in. At least that is my understanding.

@jchaplick, I read you have to add the lighter to your shopping cart, and if you have the two tins already in it, then it will show up as free. If you don't add it, you don't get it, I think.

I was looking at this deal and thinking "a free lighter isn't worth two tins of tobacco I don't much like". But if lordnoble says they have a good aromatic, I may just try it.

I might do this I'm not sure I'm debating on whether the novelty is worth it or not. Right now I'm leaning towards no

Apperently the lighter sells for $24.95, so I guess it is a pretty good deal

    Another possibility is customs.
I just shipped a Castello pipe and a kleen reem to a guy in Italy.
I looked at the customs restrictions and Italy won't allow lighters
or anything that has leather in it along with 450 other things.
I guess Italy knows how to protect their "Made in Italy" jobs.
I think the states should take note.
