I kind of went over board on Christmas pipes this year. I fixed up 3 older pipes and came across a unsmoked C. Cooper.
I got my wife an old made in England Peterson that dates back to the late 30s/early 40s which is right around her birthdate.
Next I got a weird old Italian pipe that appears to be dated 1935 and has an oval bowl and a horn stem.
And hey, another IRC made by Savinelli. A rather large bent pot stamped Straight grain, and 622KS. Like the other one I got, no one bid over $11.50! No one seems to want these pipes for some reason!
Lastly, I came across a really nice reasonably priced, unsmoked Craig Cooper that is mostly rusticated with some smooth features. I guess you'd call it a bent brandy. Looks to have been made the same year my other Cooper was, 2009. Haven't decided which tobaccos I want to try in it yet, it won't stay unsmoked for another 24 hours!
