My first attempt at rusticating a pipe. It could have been better but overall, not bad. It was a nice GBD Irwins that my dog got ahold of and chewed on a little. He always has to be my little helper.

Dan your buddy was just trying to emulate you, in the end you wound up with a fine looking pipe, give that buddy a rawhide bone.

Very nice job! My dog avoids my pipes as he doesn't like the smell. Sometimes I don't like his smell either.... :laughat:
papipeguy... Torquemada toolset, good one! Who'll put it into production first?

Thanks fellas. I would have preferred not to hack up a GBD Irwin's, but the teeth marks were pretty deep. Being a German shepherd, they are working dogs. He has to be right beside me no matter what I'm working on. It's no surprise he started rusticating the pipe for me. The tools are home made obviously. I watched a Cammoy factory rustication vid and tried my version of it. Just dig in hard and twist back and forth. I have a few more pipes I'm going to do next by choice this time.
