First, the item I bought for $30. It holds 16 pipes.


I didn't buy the following because I don't collect Medico. But thought it looked to be a good bargain for anyone interested.

Great cabinet. I love the Parliament building etching with Sherlock on the glass. Nice array of Medicos. Never see anything pipe related at antique stores, flea markets, etc., in my area. The sellers look completely mystified and slightly suspicious when I ask. It annoys me, which makes me not want to ask. I do have several pipe shops and an annual pipe show in my area to compensate.

The shop with the Medico pipes had around 25 old pipes including 4 Lonchamps Made in France and a Savinelli Punta d Oro. They had all been heavily used and I think the stems were all beyond repair.
