First Pipe Show

I’m going to the Chicago show this year, which will be my first pipe show. I really have no clue what to expect.
I’m primarily interested in picking up some tobacco, of which I assume plenty will be for sale. Is it appropriate to bring a few aged tins as trade bait (either with other attendees or registered vendors)? Thanks!

I went to my first Chicago show last year. Depending on your stay, it can vary. There is lots of smoking....lots. There will be lots of tobacco, lots. And you can trade on the Friday before the show with just about anyone. I do think you’d need to register to do that in the main show hall.

I was smoked out by Sunday. If the weather is good and you are able to get out of the tent occasionally you’ll be fine.
