I've noticed that if I smoke a bowl in two sessions, having allowed it to cool after incompletely smoking a full bowl, I get an entirely different and often surprisingly pleasant change of the particular blend's flavor.
I may do this more often and see if it's consistent with other blends.
I would think it is best done with a dry smoke or with having had a very slow first half smoke so as not to juice up the heel.
