Found this awesome looking guy at an antique store for 20 bucks. Loved the grain on it and the price had an appeal. From what I can tell, it comes from the late 40s or so. Mainly needed work on the stem and metal shank - I didnt do any oxyclean treatments, just a ton of sanding (up to 12,000 grit) and then some cleaning and wax on the rest of the pipe. Its not perfect, but fairly proud with how it came out!

That's very nice! A local antique store has a couple estate kaywoodies for sale by me. I should really think about looking at them again....

Thanks guys! It smokes great too. Took me a couple bowls to figure out the stinger but its a great pipe!
