First attempt at estate pipe purchase

    What do you guys think of the pipes and stand, I'm looking for something vintage to put on display and would be interested if the price is right.

    seems like a good deal to me just need to put in the work at cleaning them but thats half the enjoyment IMO. Go for it or I will.

    I don't know how to evaluate those 4 pipes, but I'm guessing $50 total for them, and a few bucks for the stand.

    Personally, I don't think the pipes themselves are worth bidding on. But these days you could pay more than $20 just for the rack alone. If you can get the whole deal for under $25, I think it's a relative bargain. But I honestly wouldn't expect much from the pipes themselves. (And given the fact that they're not "name" pipes, I'm guessing you're going to find them in pretty bad shape. But that's a personal bias of mine: In my mind, folks who care enough to take care of their pipes will likely care enough to invest in good pipes.)
