It was inevitable. It was like land to be grabbed. The days of the online frontier are over, unless someone

with new technology can trump this change and restart the clock. Otherwise, the middle-class (which the

big players see as a vast sea of chumps to be harvested for their meagre paychecks) will be nickel and dimed

into submission. My dad remembered when you could ride your bike to the edge of his suburb of Chicago

and hunt or camp. Now you'd have to ride a hundred miles to camp, and further to hunt. My high school

camping trip with a buddy on the DesPlaines River by canoe turned into a live documentary on environmental

pollution, glowing neon colors swirling in the current.
