So many of us have leaped on purchasing MM's new Cobbit family of corn cob pipes that this question might be inevitable, but which of the Cobbits are your favorite? My personal choice is the Shire (I have two): I love its perfect length, the ease which you can clench it (and I didn't use to be a clentcher untill recently), but in particular I love the acorn design with a hardwood pointed heel--I've never seen a pipe with a pointed heel before (although I'm sure there must be some) and just in general seems the perfect pipe for a cob. So what's yours, and why? They all have special attributes ideal for different circumstances; The Wizard for a long smoke, The Elf for just plain churchwarden smoking, The Dwarf for working (I have one in the ready on the smoking tray on my desk), and the Shire for all situations.
