I believe this was in the 70s , he was skipper of a 165ft Crewboat and Supply Boat in the Gulf. While I'm mullygrubbing trying to get better wife is redoing second bedroom and came across this old pic.

No Jason, he quit smoking after an incident on Gulf rig, man mixed chemicals to paint and it reacted and made a poisonous gas, knocked out several people, scared his lungs and he gave all his stuff away, to who I don't know, I really wish I had them though.

Definitely looks like the skipper has everything ship shape. I think that's one of those white briars.

I've often wished I've had my dad's pipes... and my grandad's especially. Grampa was born in 1888 and had several pipes from "the old country" as well.
