Anyone else like looking at the ash formations in their pipes as the tobacco expands?

I love it when it makes a little circle in the pipe, looks cool to me.

    Love that photo, Duane

I agree. Captain did well. I want a huge print of it now for my livingroom. The ashes remind me of an Indiana Artist named Harold Zisla. I had the Honor of meeting him in his home around the time he retired and he was doing grey scale paintings. You could tell he loved Jackson Pollock. #ChasingPollock

Dude...staring at that photo is like, putting me in an altered state of consciousness or something. I'm going to need a bag full of Arby's Bambi Burgers and a heavy-duty nic blend to set me straight again now.

Duane, any given idea that causes you to open a thread somehow comes to my mind in advance. I was smoking a bowl of Newminster Superior Navy Flake yesterday in the evening and for a moment I realized how a fine white ash has formed. As you said, I didn't want to tamp it down, didn't take a picture though.

Nice pic, hopefully you'll post some more tasseography of Jvnshr's mind in the future.

If what to know about some fascinating ashes, look into the ashes of Phellinus igniarius.

I used to learn about coffee tasseography, it was fun. Once, I was coffee reading for my girlfriend and predicted that we are going to break up. We laughed at that one, because we were loving each other a lot. After a few months, she broke up with me, because it was a long distance relationship and she couldn't take it. She is my wife now (couldn't predict this one) and we have a kid Today is his birthday by the way.

Coffee can be bitter and it's effects are only short term. Perhaps palmistry would've revealed you taking her by the hand.

I think it's a Preben Holm, from the era when he wasn't able to put his name on his pipes, and Lane granted him permission to use the Ben Wade label.

How are you all posting photos? Are you using a host site or are you loading them to your profile page one at a time? Loading them to the profile page one at a time just seems like too much of a hassle to me. I was able to use a host site a long time ago but it appears that they are no longer compatible. I was using Google Photos but that stopped working, then I tried Amazon Prime Photos and it appears to not work at all. I would love to be more active in the WAYS thread and threads such as this one but if I can't contribute any photos I just don't see the point. Don't mean to derail this thread. If anyone has some suggestions on how to more conveniently post pictures please PM me.

    Thanks!
