Words to live by for all pipe smokers.

Frennchy11 came from my first and last name. The extra "n" is from Nick and Frenchy comes from French
Peterson pipes are my favorites.
I don't know how old you are, but "toking" means something entirely different to some of us who were alive in the 60s and 70s.
Not quite the image we're going for, I don't think.

My signature line should say it all.
Mine is fairly simple: initials of my two first names and then my last name
My screen name has a double meaning. In the context of pipes I like the bent ones! Secondly my other passion is bicycles. One type of bike I really enjoy is called a recumbent, or "bent" for short.

HP Velotechnik Street Machine, Made in Germany. Aluminum frame 27 speeds Spring front, fully adjustable air charged rear suspension. I've rode it 82 miles in one sitting. It's got about 2,200 miles on it now.
m= mike lyvers, my real name.
The Herbine was the name of the Colliery in my town, later to become The St. Clair Coal Company. My name is David, self explanatory!!!
Collected comicbooks all thru school and college. Created in the 40's, the golden age of comics, Wildcat was always my favorite character.
Joe, well, that's my name. And 912 is my birth month and day.
TopD is what my troops called me when I was active duty. "Top" is a nick name for Master Sergent, and
"D" is for Downey, my last name.
My wife June and I in '90, just before Desert Storm.
Well, my name is Bill and I live in South Florida...
Starting to feel as if my screen name is burning; may have to change it.
Currently it is just my last name and my first initial.
Gwyn is a Welsh surname, my last name and have a family of 5(clan).
Easy peesy lemon squeezy.
Jeff
In college, I was in the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity (TKE) and I earned the nickname Jonah because of an incident involving a "curvy" lady. Jonahtke has been my goto screen name for almost 10 years.
From the BRONX, love the BRIAR.
Well since it's been a good while since I replied and we've got new members I'll say it again. Besides who's gonna read through all seven pages?
I've liked the German language for a good long time and one day while making an account on some forum while trying to think of a name I pretty much just translated how I was feeling in to a different language.
So I became..."I'm tired".
After my second stint in college, I was doing some freelance web and graphic design work. I thought of the name Grafikchaos for my business, and had my own website and such. It was pretty much my design style, not to mention my work methods.
So grafikchaos has been my screen name on the web for about the past 6 or 7 years.
well, my name is Ignatious, and I hate it, as well as its short form, Ignatz. So, I just go by my real name, Danno.
Well, my name is Carlos and I live in Vietnam...
Unit 562 - just the next unit of the assembly line, next widget, next space monkey...ect
When I first got on line with Aol back in 1995, I was big into cigars and the handle cigarmaster was taken so I just shortened it to cigrmaster. My email address for every ISP I used was cigrmaster so I just kind of stuck with it.
PITCHFORK, as in "pitchforks and torches." Although I'm not actively writing much anymore, I've used this handle ever since I started blogging about the financial crisis and the bank bailouts. I should probably leave it at that.
Pretty simple; it's my initials. It also happened to be my first username on my first university main frame account back in 1992.
I am a Cowboy Action Shooter, and we all use aliases. My mother was born in Checotah, OK., so I adopted her home town as my alias and my tribute to her. It's kinda grown to be my alias in several venues, including this one.
I'm 6' 4" and weigh 285 lbs.....Need I say more?
Well, I'm cynical by nature, and I am a saved sinner, and I love Lynyrd Skynyrd...
A friend actually is responsible for my Pipe Mama. I'm the only female smoker in the area and I was helping him learn the ropes of pipe smoking. Liked it and kept it as my moniker.
Mine is an abbreviation for "going where the wind don't blow so strange". It is a lyric from an old Grateful Dead tune called ~ He's Gone
Well I guess all Grateful Dead songs are old now
Mine is easy, I'm into paranormal investigation and I favour aromatics. I was surprised when this name wasn't taken, if it had I may have used a Grateful Dead reference like gwtwdbss did. (Aoxomoxoa, perhaps?)
Beverage of choice....... whew, that was a hard one..
Bump for the new members to respond

Mine's pretty simple... my last name is Thornburg. My friends call me "Burg" for short.
My initials and birth year..

Hey crk69.... love your avatar!
1969 was a good year. Lots of great cars, music with great melodies(unlike today), great fishing, women getting wild.
Thanks burg, love Rob's movies, reminds me of what a true horror movie used to be before they became what they are today.. @Hobie, 69 was definantly a good year.... Want to find an old 69 chevy camaro ss to rebuild...
Crk69- my best friend has 3 of the Huggar Orange 69 Z28 models, all original numbers matching. His first one is sitting in his side yard sinking into the Earth :(. His second one is in his garage with original cross ram intake, dual 4-barrel carbs, hasn't been started in 7 or so years.
Now that truelly is a crying shame... All that american muscle and just letting them go to waste....
He does that with everthing he owns, won't sell anything and what he has rots away. I've lined up buyers several times for both cars, and he turns them away.
toking" means something entirely different to some of us who were alive in the 60s and 70s
Sounds like my dad, large collection of old trucks and equipment, but won't get rid of it, says one day he'll fix them up or use parts off them, but mostly they just sit and collect rust.. sad...
It's a password Batman used to access his computer in the trade paperback Blind Justice.
My first initial Tucker and my last name Jameson. I was thinking the same thing Uber...
Sutallee is where I live, in Georgia.
you can suck on a pipe and you can suck on a popsicle...So I became Pipesicle! Both are sweet treats.
In college I was the sousaphone section leader. The band director called us the sousies and everybody started calling me captain sousie.
Sou
Morton was the name of a German Shepherd pup that crawled out of his whelping box and lay down at my feet when he was 6 weeks old. I had to wait two more weeks to get him and then I had him for twelve years. He died two years ago and I miss him every day. I have Labs now, 4 of them and I love them all but Morton will always be a part of who I am.
When i was kid my dad worked at a car lot and all the guys called him wolfie, so when i would come hangout with him they called me wolfie jr. 90 is my birth year i just like it better lol also my last names wolford thats why they called him wolfie.
The horizontal monstermash......get it
Mine is rather straight forward. For years I smoked nothing but English blends and collected English pipes, hence the name. Its also my user name on UK smokers forums and the IPPC. Not to many people take it so I just transfer it wherever I go.
Oddly, I have not smoked many English blends in the past year or so, its all been VA/VAPERs.
Well it's my YouTube pipe presenter name and it's becoming all of my go to user names. Mr just because no big significance Gunnar because thats my first name and 177 because I was 17 at the time that I made my account and it was taken so I added an extra7 to it.
Well I've always found Stephen Colbert to be very funny, so I used America as my handle when I played Halo 2. Well there was this guy who was really good, and it pissed me and my buddies off. His handle was Uber Mike. So to irritate him we all put uber in our handle. So I became Uber America. Then when I tried creating my name on Xbox 360 the machine froze, and when I turned it back on, it said the name was taken even though it wasn't. So I added the 3 and became Uber Am3rica. It's my user name for almost everything I do
S. W. Erdnase is a pseudonym used by the author of The Expert at the Card Table, a book detailing sleight of hand, cheating and legerdemain using playing cards. Still considered essential reading for any card magician, the book, known also as either the Bible or, commonly, just Erdnase, has been in continual publication since 1902. Erdnase's true identity is one of the enduring mysteries of the magic community.
I've been studying card cheating techniques for 30 years. I performed close-up sleight of hand magic for many years for companies all over the U.S. While I no longer perform in public, I still practice my techniques while smoking a pipe!
Any Questions...
Got the name back when I used to run with some "bad boys"... Gave up that lifestyle many years ago, but the name stuck
My brother helped me set up an email when I was 10 and he chose my username, kinda found of the gibberish letters now lol
My father's name is Gary, so my Russian paternal name would be "garyovich", actually since I am a junior my full name would be "Gary Garyovich" but I just use the paternal for screen names. Oddly enough I'm actually Irish, but I went through an extended phase of obsession with Russian literature in college.
Mine comes from a drug i have to take everyday. I have Ulcerative Colitis.
Mercaptopurine (also called 6-mercaptopurine, 6-MP or its brand name Purinethol) is an immunosuppressive drug.
Anyway i needed a screen name for something one day and everything i thought of was already taken and i looked at the box of pills and figured why not
Mine is dark, mysterious and esoteric: my name is Mick.
"Number Six" is from the 60s TV series "The Prisoner". The TV series was part psychological drama and science fiction. Without a doubt, the show offered great insights into the human condition. If you watched it today, it will seem extremely dated, but the main storyline is still brilliant.
Interestingly enough, the ending of the series so outraged the British public, that the shows creator and star, Patrick McGoohan left England for good (but he still didn't regret the ending the series the way he did).

Zirbengeist is a type of schnapps in the Austrian alps. Since one of my hobbies is mountain hiking and climbing I thought it was neat to find a drink from an ingredient that is only made in the alps. It tastes pretty good too.
Im a crew chief (ce as its written on flight records) on uh60 blackHAWK helicopters...hawk60ce. I use it on all the forums i join
My screen name means "Rabbi Silver" in Hebrew. And, as it happens, I'm a Rabbi, so that's my title. Also, because many Hebrew words have more than one meaning, it also means "lots of money." The first definition is far more true than the second.
It was my first email address. Don't ask how I came up with that. I suck at coming up with screen names. It didn't dawn on me to try my first name in some combo.....
Girlfriend came up with it while playing cards (keeping score on a sheet). She actually said 'roudoudou gagnant' (winning roudoudou) as it sounds like a racehorse. Roudoudou stuck forever (she always calls me that, even in public).
