I found this little pipe this morning in a cabinet while looking for something else. It says Executive and imported briar on the shank and has a L on the stem. I don't know anything else about it other than I must have it over 30 years. Any ideas who made this?

How's it smoke? I've haven't been attracted to bulldogs, but I they are quite popular so I just might pick up a Peterson this week to see what all the fuss is about.

The "L" logo supports the Lorenzetti idea. Now you need to go back and see if Lorenzetti uses the

"Executive" terminology. Just a few brands seem to use that, so that could narrow it down.

When I looked up the "L" logo on the website it brought me to Executive. No mention of country, although I suspect it is a USA pipe since it's stamped Imported Briar. More of a basket pipe than anything with a pedigree but it'd be nice to know more about it.
