Finally got around to trying Margate tonight.
Everything you love in an English, plus the vitamin N of a old-codger burley.
Wow.
(Interesting cut, too. Almost the angel hair of tobaccos.)

Ya mate, you are right. I have a tin of Margate here and I like it quite a bit. However I mix most of my bowls so I don't thing I have had a bowl of it straight.

So, if you're really in for something fun, layer Peterson Irish Flake with Margate. It adds another level of richness and enough Vitamin N to stone a horse. I stumbled across it one night after a little too much scotch and it's one of my favorite mixes now when I'm in the mood for something really strong.
