I saw this article on a news feed late last night and when I awoke this morning I thought I just dreamt the whole thing up. It's going to be hard for some of these nannies to admit that there's an actual healing capacity in the tobacco plant.
Does that mean we will be able to get "Medical Tobacco" cards in the future to treat what ails us?
I hate to be "Debby Downer" but what if the Kentucky leaf actually becomes an ingredient in a vaccine for this disease? Would the FDA then finally be able to regulate its cultivation and processing as it would then be classified as a drug? Nicotine is one thing but being able to classify the plant would open a whole new can of worms.
