This is the lot of pipes that I won on ebay that I plan on learning on. First sanitizing then stem work then restoring the bowl......

Looks like most are in decent condition. A couple fixer-uppers for sure.
Go crazy.
I really like that Smooth Black Spigot pipe. I just don't know why.

Very nice. I like the black spigot, the rusticated zulu, and the freehand looking one in the top left for sure.

Yes, I believing it is. That was in a lot of three that I got for under $25bucks. I think I got beat on the "Ben Wade" (top left)tho. The rest averaged it down.

First attempt salt, everclear, oxyclean, magic eraser, an old can of furniture polish, spare rags and a little elbow grease. Of course this is just a start

Great looking pipes there, friend. You did well. If you run out of time or gas before you get to that 4 dot Brigham give me a holler.

Yeah, good score. Going slow, I'm doing two pipes per weekend. Cant wait to get to the Brigham and the Ben Wade. I was about to make a small investment into a cheap motor and a buffer kit from Beall but the TAD bug hit me. I guess I'll use elbow grease for now.

About stripping a bowl. I read some posts that says to soak overnight in alcohol. Do I totally submerge the bowl in alcohol(using iso 91%)? and on sanding (by hand) what grit is recomended? Thanks again for all the advise.
