Dunhill Tanshell---- Has This Finish Been Retired or Discontinued?

I buy mostly estate pipes. I have bought quite a few Dunhill Tanshells from the 50's-70's over the years. Just perusing the vendors, I don't see ANY "NEW" Tanshells for sale, anywhere. Has that finish been discontinued? And if so, when? I have a couple early 1960's Tanshell billiards that are some of my best smokers. I can't find any information on Dunhill retiring this finish, but can't find any new ones anywhere..........Thoughts??

Not only can't you find any pipes but they're not even listed as an available line with most venders. The newest one I've seen was a 2009.

I have never seen a new one for sale. They must be discontinued. But the county is the best smoking sandblasted Dunhill.

Curious that they make a lot of fanfair when they retired the Redbark, (no-one gave a shit) but when the Tanshell went away, nothing was said? ODD?

One of my Tanshells is from the early 2000s, 2003 if my memory serves me correct. I haven't seen many produced recently, but the finish has definitely not been retired:

It does appear prices have kept up with the times though! 8O
