Upon opening this tin I thought perhaps I had been short changed on volume, as it seemed a bit light. However, these rolls rubbed out quite easily and nicely filling the tin to capacity, and breaking down into a fine ribbon reminiscent of a cigarette tobacco cut. The tin aroma was distinctively Virginian with a touch of fruit, and something like oak. Although it seemed to be just right in terms of moisture, the first bowl proved this untrue and it will need to dry out a bit. Overall, it could be a bit sweeter if they wanted it to be, but it was very mild with a medium body. I have yet to truly discover the difference between any other flake and a "Navy" flake, but whatever it may be is certainly detectible as perhaps rum or whiskey, something to that effect.
