Hello pipers,
I have a little insecurity about dating a certain Dunhill pipe. The nomenclature of the pipe is as follows:
Dunhill-1.jpg

To me, the year suffix looks like the "smaller raised type". I always thought that it was indicating the year 1963. But at the closer look to the Pipephil dating key, I realized, that the case of a "smaller raised suffix" without patent number, does not exist there. The same applies to pipedia's dating guide.
So the question is, if I may be wrong about the fact, that this suffix is of the "smaller raised" type, or if this pipe is just oddly stampedP
Thanks for your help!

there used to be a good Dunhill dating page on the John loring site but I get an error now when I try to access it.

Is there anyway to recover it via wayback machine?

Paulfg, thanks for your help. The suggestion of wayback machine was an excellent idea. Here's a link to a list of John Loring's articles (all the links seem to work):

But, unfortunately, there is no dating guide for pipes of later periods...
