My wife said I have lost my mind, but I am a daydreamer. Bought some stems

to do more pipes and had this Driftwood laying around. Not finished yet,

I am turning down a block of wood on the lathe to make a bowl too in insert

into the soft area. Anyway what the hell. It will keep me off the Streets.

Very different, I like it. What kind of wood are you going to use as a bowl? Will the insert bowl keep the driftwood from being damaged? If the driftwood gets hot will any of the sea salts it has absorbed from drifting around be transferred to the smoke? Sorry, inquisitive mind needs to ask.

Jcsnaps,

Using wild Cherry wood for insert. It was out of a Freshwater lake ( Lake Walk-in Water-Florida.

I do not think that I will smoke a full bowl, just enough for show. If I knew what to line it with

I would forget about the insert except for having a lathe and never use it is a waste of money
