The first three or four times I saw the ads, I thought I was supposed to recognize this guy, and because
of his age (around my own) I kept trying to. Then it dawned that it was a persona, the most interesting
man in the world. It's a brilliant campaign, but as I've seen additional versions, I think they have to wrap
it up. They've always managed to make the fantasy figure seem bigger than life. Now he's getting a little
more like Uncle Alex, and I see him as more bluff than magic. I think Equis should fold while they're still
ahead. The actor did a good job, and he looks great with a pipe.
