I just pulled a plug out of my press. It was a mix of Virginia Brightleaf, Little Dutch and Perique. It tastes the same as the non pressed version.

As woodsroad pointed out, that is the process in how Perique is made. Without that process, there is no Perique! So with that... I'm not understanding the question?
I'm referring to the tobacco of course, and not the member by the name of Perique as God only knows how he was processed! :wink:

Of course. Pressure is what it's all about, after all. Especially for Perique.
OK, so as not to confuse the OP, are we talking about the tobacco, or you?

Other than that, we all know now from another thread that Perique is pressed and soaked in Plum juice, muriatic acid and 'Fabreze' (that would be 'fresh linen' of course).
