I was planning on selling this one, but it still leaves something to be desired. There is still some deep scratches in the briar that I left, for fear of changing the shape.
Be gentle, I'm shy...

Thanks guys. I have the utmost respect for pipe restorers now. It's not as easy as it looks...SHEESH!
I think I'll keep that one, and sell my Petersons instead... :wink:

With gouges that deep you don´t have to worry about the shape - they need to come out and after all the pipe will only look better than before.
