I have been observing my oldest son studying Physical Chemistry this evening.

Determination is the word that comes to my mind. He is very analytical and has passed Gen Chem, and Organic Chem I & II with A grades. P.Chem has been a different story for him.

He has no clue that I have been watching Determination at its finest.

Thanks gigger48 He's doing fine in the other stuff as well.

Wish I could help him study but I am not a chemistry major.

Thanks for posting "determination". My oldest son is at the New Mexico Military Institute and is holding a 3.85gpa. It is a very difficult school and he is doing well. It takes a lot of determination to do well in hard classes. Good luck to you and your son.

P-Chem threw a wrench in my works as well.

I really enjoyed Organic Chemistry I&II and P-Chem was like going back to Gen. Chem but ten times harder.

Send your son my condolences and tell him to keep up the good work!

I took geology so I could avoid Chem, biology, and physics. Thus I know a lot about rocks. Good for your son!
