It's been years since I smoked any, but as I remember, it's a very good smoke - tons of flavor. Thanks for sharing

    +1 I like it

The most important things in life are good friends and a good bullpen...not necessarily in that order

Very tasty stuff, I prefer it over Escudo.

One of my fav as well. Escudo is stronger and not so smooth but I love both!

+1 for this blend. I picked up a tin of De Luxe Navy Rolls and a tin of Escudo on Tuesday so that I could compare them back to back and pick one to be my new go to blend. I really like them both with the Dunhill on top by a slight margin. I enjoyed the slightly tangier aspects of the Dunhill, but I found the Escudo to be more consistent throughout the bowl and after letting it go out and relighting. Looks like I will be keeping them both around. Enjoy!

Just curious: I'm extremely sensitive to perique -- get the painful feeling of needles in the mouth -- so I'm wondering if either the Navy Rolls or the Escudo would be of any interest to me. For the record, I have smoked Escudo, but that was in the mid-1980s, and I have no idea if the blend has remained the same.

Which do you think has less perique in it?

I would say the the Dunhill De Luxe has less perique, but I'm no expert. It was a very pleasant smoke for me.
