Hello everyone, I've got a patent era Dunhill that I'm having a hard time dating. I've combed through a couple of the usual guides and still at a loss. When I think I've figured it out based on the patent number and shape, the "MADE IN ENGLAND" location negates it. Just wondering if anyone here might know? Thank you in advance!

These are from the original seller. I can post some more photos if needed, but these seem to be pretty clear to me.

Thank you for narrowing it down! I had seen the 1937 and 1943 examples there but was thrown off due to the lack of date marker after ENGLAND. It doesn't appear like the pipe was cut down at all but maybe I'm just missing something or the briar is too worn down to see the date code.

The old Dunhill without the date mark, and U.S. Patent question... :)

I only know this because I had to figure out the same markings on a Dunhill of mine.

I've never cared too much for Dunhill pipes, mostly because I'm cheap, but reading that article made me want one...
