I've recently grown to really enjoy the flavor and strength of dark fired Kentucky and have at the top of my list Orlik Dark Strong, Peterson Irish Flake, Sam Gawith Brown no. 4, Rattray's Stirling Flake, and GL Pease Jackknife Plug (I find this one the strongest in terms of nicotine). I have tried HH Old Dark Fired and Bold Kentucky but that was months ago and found them too strong at the time. I think I'm ready to give them another shot and am wondering what other dark fired Kentucky blends you all would recommend?

G&H Kendall Kentucky (which is strong, but flavorful, less spice than ODF), and if you want something sweeter in the genre, G&H Dark Bird's Eye.

Wessex Brigade Campaign Dark Flake is a Virginia, not a dark fired Kentucky.
