Here lately I've really fallen in love with cutty style pipes, especially this one:

    What do you think?

Now if only I could find a meer cutty with a white or amber acrylic churchwarden stem!

    Very nice!

My first thought was that it was a little pricey for what amounts to a Butz-Choqin. Don't get me wrong, BC's are good, solid pipes, but they're usually less expensive than that.

But it IS a good looking pipe, and a silver band AND cap... that's a lot of silver for the money.

OK, you've convinced me. You should buy it.

It's a nice pipe; if you want it, buy it before I do!

I wasn't even aware that they made briar pipes that looked like that, but now that I have seen it, I totally want one! I have two clays that look a lot like it, only mine are longer in length. Thanks for the link!

I also like the cutty shape, almost as much as the zulu one.

I think the Cutty is my favorite shape, but I only have one, that was made by Uncle Arthur.

It is a damn good pipe too, I am liable to wear it out.

OrganizedMadMan, that's one sexy pipe. Ever since a member posted a picture of his meer pipe that was in that same style I've like the shape more and more.

Looks like you and me will be on the hunt for that meer cutty aye?

I have drooled over that pipe before. Little pricy for me at the moment but I am sure it is worth it. I'm on lock down for my PAD and TAD for a while. I can live vicariously threw your purchase though! I say buy it!

Ser Jacopo has a few brilliant cutty styles, the Van Gogh Picta series comes to mind.

I bought this pipe in the Old Perth Natural version. I bought it in Denmark because that was the only webshop in Europe where you could buy this pipe. It's a pricy pipe but you get a perfect pipe with a lot of beautiful silverwork (this shape). The story behind these pipes (there are four different versions)is that they are made with the old machinery of Chacom.(I have 2 Chacoms that are exactly the same) I don't know if the have made only one serie or if they planned more pipes in the future.

@Romeowood: I was so lucky to find the number 2 of the Picta van Gogh. It's an excellent pipe....now I have to find the number 4 of that serie.

Cutty's are a great looking pipe. Its like the best of two worlds: the tradition and history of a clay pipe with the sturdiness of briar!

picked up one from him not long ago; outstanding smoker,

There has gone something wrong. Sir Altinok wrote me that there is only one pipe left in his shop.
