OK, we all know about Sherlock Holmes, but can anyone think of a new (2010 onward) movie that has pipe smokers in it?
This weekend the FX channel had Red Tails on it. The story was interesting, and lo and behold, Cuba Gooding Jr smokes a bent billard:

Not exactly a movie, but the HBO miniseries "The Pacific" has quite a few scenes with Chesty Puller, always with his pipe, and the character Eugene Sledge takes up pipe smoking during the series.

There will be blood. Excellent movie staring Daniel Day Lewis. a.k.a, Daniel Plainview. One of the best movies of the past decade.

The wife and I watched a movie the other night called "Last Kind Words". It was about a boy growing up with an abusive father in the backwoods of Kentucky. The ever impressive Brad Dourif played a man who lived with the boy and his father and he not only smoked a pipe, but in one scene, one of the girls that lived at the house found one of his pipes, picked it up and smelled the inside of the chamber and smiled fondly. Pretty good movie for anyone with a Netflix subscription.
