   I enjoy crosswords. Fits well with drinking coffee and smoking.

   USA Today has good little online interactive 20-30 minute crosswords.

   My first attempt at posting failed, just look for Will Johnston's Puzzle Pointers.

   (I think you need to be registered and logged into Cruciverb to get access to the L.A. Times and CrosSynergy puzzles. There are lots of other ones there too, like Jonesin', by Matt Jones, The Onion, Boston Globe, etc.)

   You'll need this tiny program to solve them:

   Search for Across Lite and click on the Litsoft link that appears in Google.

   I uploaded my crossword collection folder tonight in order to back it up. I also included the program to solve them and a text file with some explanations. There are a little over 3,000 puzzles in a 6.01 MB zip file.

   1 - Down…two letters
   Preposition: primarily indicates approach and arrival, motion made in the direction of
   2 – Down… five letters
   Verb transitive: constitute the letters of a word
   3 – Across… thirteen letters
   Verb: 1 – down + 2 - down
