I've had a couple tracking issues like that :rofl: It's maddening. It's like they know your tracking the package so they do it on purpose just to screw with you. "Hey your package is in your state of Texas.... and now it's in California! Hahahahahaha!"
I ordered some coffee beans that just happened to use Amazon for shipping. The box left Las Vegas (original shipping location) and went to Salt Lake City. From there it went to Phoenix, some city in Tennessee, back to Salt Lake and then to, you guessed it, my home in Las Vegas.
It was two pounds of coffee beans.

Hap, that's why I don't follow tracking very often. It makes no sense.
I've also had packages get shipped between FedEx, UPS and USPS. I guess everyone got a piece of that pie.

I'm with ash. I'm old enough to remember when one ordered and simply forgot about the item until it arrived. Tracking is simply a way to increase your blood pressure. It'll get there when it gets there. Tracking it won't speed the deliver.
Yes, it will get here when it gets here. I thought that it was humorous, the unbelievable travel time over great distances, Louisville to Hamilton in an hour and twenty minutes, back to Miami and back to Canada. Most times tracking is semi-accurate and can be helpful as to when you can expect a package. Small "community mailboxes" don't hold very much and if anyone else is getting packages the few large boxes may be taken and your package will return to the post office and results in a trip to town to pick it up.
...and including a check with your order before mailing the envelope 8O
I remember when I was a young man in the early 70's I saw an ad in the back of comic book for a pea shooter that I just had to have. I cut out the ad and stared at it every chance I had while earning the couple of bucks to give to my mom so she could write out the check. Then off it went and the waiting began. I think it took almost two months to get pea shooter. My patience was at a frazzle and then the big day came. What a colossal let down. It broke withing minutes of playing in the street with my friends.
