So I was a bit late this month on my deep clean but I noticed that on one of my cobs, the bottom of the bowl (these are MMs so where the sticker is or was) the bottom of the bowl (on the outside) is soft and mushy. Upon further inspection, 4 out of 5 of them are like this. This is my main rotation so they see heavy service. Is this the beginning or near the end for them? I will not be so sad if it is but I would like to put it off as long as possible and I would also like to avoid a lap full of embers. Is there anything I can do or should I start planning funerals?

Thanks roth.
I'll have to copy and paste that recipe into a permanent place on my computer. Really, I should have thought of that myself but it had been a long week.
Thanks again for saving my cobs!
