    Hey family!

I just got my hands on this beautiful vintage Corn Cob General. I was wondering since the bowl is so deep, what would be the best tool to use for lighting it and to tamp it? Thanks!

Hi there and welcome to the PM Forums!

I've been using some el cheapo BBQ grill lighters I got at the Dollar Store for a buck each. I use this lighter when I don't use matches. They are adjustable and refillable. I got 'em this summer and am still using my first lighter.

I'm thinking one of these would work nicely for your General.
