The walls of Bowl to thin. Maybe this pipe was reamed?

The walls don't look too thin to stand up (unless you smoke it like a freight train) but it definitely looks like it has been bored oversize as they say in the automotive biz. If they're asking more than $125 I would give it a pass.

Absent any picture including the nomenclature a purchase like that is questionable. It would appears that pipe has been extensively reconditioned. I think I'd pass.

I would say, smokeable, it's a little thin at the front of the bowl. Looking at the sandblast, and the size, and the color of the dot on the stem, I would also think it is an older pipe. That is the color of a Dunhill Shell, in the first picture, you can see some wear and the color of the "understain", which one might expect from an older Shell. The markings on the bottom would date the pipe.

I've seen a few early Shells with thin walls like that. It doesn't look nearly too bad, perhaps slightly over reamed.

Based on the photos, I'm not seeing anything suspicious. A lot of Dunhills from this period had relatively thin walls. The blast looks pretty detailed and not terribly buffed down. Maybe I'm missing something. To me, the only odd part is the stinger, but it might not be original to the pipe.
