I've searched tobacco reviews and SP.com's tobacco finder, still rather info from pros and more committed pipers...

Which tobacco will give me the smoky, heavy, leathery latakia goodness but also some tingle in my nose on the way out? I like Old Joe Krantz, but I think its got more (burley?) than I prefer?

Thanks in advance folks!

Nightcap maybe? I don't really remember it blowing off my nose though.

Nightcap definitely the go-to gold standard imo.
Others I've had and liked include GLP Quiet Nights and Blackpoint and McClelland Jubilee and Bombay Extra. (And if you want to include a crossover, Frog on the Bayou, its the best of the Frogs to my taste.)

Bombay Extra is a phenomenal blend that gets little attention imho. Too big for me now, I really love the lighter Bombay Court. Far more evolution in BE over Nightcap in my experience. More complex. Also, the same

House has been making BE for 40 yrs and its date stamped. Great stuff.
