As an avid fan of comoys pipes when I saw the re-introduction of comoys tobacco here in the u.k. I just had to get some, even just to savour the tin if the baccy wasn't much cop!

Well, I don't do tobacco reviews, & I shan't attempt to start off by doing one here, all I will say is as a smoker of normally strong blends I wasn't expecting much at all.

As it turned out I was pleasantly surprised, both in strength (medium) taste & quality. I maybe & probably am totally biased towards comoys anyway, but if you ever wondered what a pint of 'real ale' tastes like in a pipe, well here you go! (Unbiased opinion, old gowrie with a different & delightful taste!).

Sounds very nice! Anyone know of any other blends with a clove note? I had an uncle that smoked clove cigarettes and they always smelled so nice.
