I'm finally getting some time to get back into the shop and work on some pipes. This Comoy's Grand Slam didn't require much effort. The briar is really handsome in the flesh.
Full details and pictures are on the Reborn Pipes blog entry below.

Thanks guys, that one was pretty simple. My job has been crazy lately, and I've barely had time to smoke a pipe, much less work on one. So, it's been good getting back out into the shop.

VERY nice! Big bowl for a relatively small bend. I admit to being prejudiced, though -- bent bulldogs take up at least half of one of my bigger racks.

Let's get that a little bigger. Looks like love and some micromesh could fix that little guy right up!

Meguiars has a number of plastic polishes. This one happened to be in my car polishes/waxes cabinet, so I just started using it:

Okay, I'll give it a go. Usually just wax, or use Paragon, but always on the lookout for a better protectant.
